| Distoromance is a French duo whose roots run deep into the dark strata of music. Even before Distoromance, both members had explored shadowed sonic territories in various projects – together and apart – traversing the landscapes of black metal, cold wave, and doom. In electronic music, they discovered a medium that grants them complete autonomy and a self-sufficient means to channel their emotional undercurrents. Humanity lies at the core of their artistic fixation, providing an endless source of fascination: from those who dream of cheating death, to those who repeat their mistakes endlessly. Human, all too human. Their gaze also focuses on the fragile architecture of interpersonal relationships.
