Yes, darkness remains: Those who enjoyed the depressive character of the last Haus Arafna album Asche will also be well served here. The title track is an aggressive piece of “old-school industrial” with menacing, floating analogue synths, brutal vocals and a merciless rhythm. The second track of the presentation convinces with disturbing darkness. Bedded in claustrophobic electronics, driven by a dragging, at the same time whipping beat, the tormented voice resounds from a hellmouth and recites sombre montages of German text.
